Notes and decisions based on playtesting
- Joystick movement too senstive
- Change movement to movecharacter wherever input is
- Changed gameplay to be in two phases: attacking and dodging
- Rhythms now must be hit in sequence instead of multiple chances to hit anytime on beat
- Added new faster/complex rhythms since gameplay change makes game easier to handle
- Added new fireballs as projectiles
- Updated tutorial
- Telegraph certain boss attacks with danger panels, forcing player to stay in one lane
- Updated tunnel movement to give illusion tunnel is twisting and turning instead of one monotonous torus
- Sound effects can be confusing (not clear if it is positive or negative sound)
Must complete
- Finish new levels
- Fix joystick sensitivity
- Telegraph attacks/make it easier to read complex sequences
- Implement new healthbar art
- Rearrange HUD
- Make cutscenes
- Have adjustable beat threshold for laggy set ups and quality of life
